As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you should have the following mandatory skills:
- 4-7 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Experience in creating test strategy for the features and ability to find critical issues.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis of bugs.
- Experience in testing application workflows (SaaS model).
- Hands-on in Java Script.
- Hands-on experience in Playwright using JS.
- Sound knowledge of automation frameworks.
- Experience with testing in Git & Jenkins CI.
- Good experience on PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on scripting experience in Java (good to have).
- Cope up with fast context switching.
- REST API/JSON formats understanding and Postman tool.
- Working experience on Linux OS.
- Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (both work autonomously and as part of a team).
- Experience on Jira and agile environment.
- Be a Tester who can test complex applications and identify critical defects.
- Understand complex workflows, integrations, understand API/JSON formats well and query databases.
- Actively participate in Grooming and Test planning calls.
- Design, develop and run a manual quality test.
- Write the automation scripts independently and reviewing the peers’ code.
- Review functional and design requirements to ensure full understanding to enable the development of good test scenarios.
- Collaborate well with onshore and offshore teams.
- Deliver high-quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.
- Follow process by adhering to documented methodology. Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects.
- Code analysis and debugging capabilities
- Experience in Java scripts & Playwright
- Strong experience in functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GIT and Jira.
- Good analytical and communication skill.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
