Senior QA Engineer

Our QA team performs technically challenging testing work, responsible for the payment business testing. We're responsible for creatively establishing a quick, reliable, and stable automation testing system to empower project quality and efficiency.

• Review product requirements and technical architecture. Identify potential risks in software quality and provide feedback to help improve robustness of the system.
• Create tailor-made, comprehensive testing plan and testing cases. Communicate clearly and proactively with key stakeholders in product and development teams.
• Build testing environments, execute testing plan in managed testing environments. Report and track bugs till the issues are resolved.
• Build automated testing solutions for API testing and e2e integration testing.
• Collaborate with the development team, participate in code reviews, identify gaps in testability of the system, and help build towards comprehensive regression coverage that can be executed automatically.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar position.
• Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background.
• Good skill at test case design, either black testing or white testing.
• Familiar with mainstream Java open source frameworks and software development tools, including Spring Boot, Kafka, Nacos, etc.
• Experience in adopting or building automated testing tools, or other innovative testing methods like traffic recording and playback etc.
• Good team work spirit, strong communication skills, able to complete tasks independently.
• Willing to learn all aspects of products in financial and crypto markets.
• Previous experience in financial rule engine or payment, asset is preferred.

• Extensive backend testing experience.

The base salary range for this position is $223,611 to $268,333. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
