Reporting to the Senior Manager QA, you’ll be responsible for helping the development team to build, use and improve infrastructure and frameworks to drive forward our quality by building robust and effective automated tests.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Driving continuous improvement in the Quality Practice of Cin7.
Acting as an evangelist of good testing practices to the other teams.
Assisting in building a system of robust, effective automated tests for our products.
Contributing to release planning and deployment.
Reviewing requirements and collaboration / creating conditions of acceptance.
Preparing and executing tests according to risk profile, using a combination of manual and automated techniques as appropriate.
Experienced working in dynamic environments and performing exploratory testing to uncover those elusive issues
Be curious and courageous, ready to explore, learn, and expand on knowledge with little to no supervision.
Mentoring and leading the broader engineering and QA team for best practices and methodologies/concepts.
Reporting defects, including risk assessment and reproducible cases.
Collaborate with dev and PO to refine the sprint backlog, build rapport with the team, and advocate for building the test mindset.
Advocating the value of Quality Assistance and Quality Assurance practices to the wider organization.

Competencies & role/education requirements

Has and uses appropriate technical skills to carry out the role at a high level of accomplishment
Highly skilled at building automated tests for software products
Experience and knowledge working with Azure DevOps for test management and execution
Experience working in an agile environment
Seeks to continually improve in everything they do via exploration and proactively reaching out to the wider group at the same time sharing the learnings with the team
Independently able to complete tasks assigned and ask for suggestions when roadblocks occur.
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Prioritize activities and actively work on them, keeping the team informed of the progress or any impediments
Look for opportunities to improve the processes and, hence, productivity.
