Overview
The QA area is responsible for the testing of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet goals of TNS' products
Responsibilities
The QA engineer will be responsible for working with other scrum team members to help develop, execute and automate test cases based on a published set of technical requirements.
Overall Objective:
Working within the execute / delivery phase of TNS’ Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to analyze the quality of software Developed for the Data Office including but not limited to Neural Networks (NNs), general algorithms, and point solutions developed by the Lodz Office which meets or exceeds the company’s standards. You will function collaboratively as part of Terminal development team engaged in the structured and timely delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Create test plans and scripts using automated processes.
- Develop and execute test plans that thoroughly test applications on and allow for quality implementation of applications on payment terminals.
- Document and communicate test reports and outcomes appropriately to stakeholders.
- Communicate status, issues and risks with leaders in a timely manner.
- Assisting with analysis, problem-solving, development and delivery of maintainable and efficient software solution elements across TNS’ business capabilities.
- Actively and continuously pursue self-improvement, innovation and the adoption of best practice to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the team.
- Professionalism, clarity and consistency when interacting with key stakeholders and collaborative communication within and between teams.
- Proactively seeking information from external sources and removing impediments, enabling the teams to achieve greater outcomes.
- Function collaboratively as a member of a professional technology team engaged in the structured and timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Tracking and reporting deliverable (including exception reporting) to stakeholders, consistently and in an appropriate format to allow stakeholders to make informed business decisions.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years overall testing experience in developing and automating test cases.
- Experience generating and executing suitable software test cases based on User Stories / Requirements.
- Experience in the verification of Applications.
- The ability to work independently and/or in a team.
- Demonstrated experience creating work item estimates and documenting the time taken.
- Ability to independently manage time, working towards and meeting agreed deadlines.
- Experience preparing and maintaining documentation of applications and systems.
- Good communication skills.
Education / Certifications:
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field of study.
