We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, primarily focused on manual testing with exposure to automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, ensuring high-quality releases, and contributing to test strategy within Agile development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements and develop effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Execute and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution documentation.
- Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar platforms.
- Conduct database testing and data validation using SQL.
- Identify, log, track, and verify resolution of software defects.
- Assess testing risks and provide quality recommendations throughout the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Support and mentor junior QA team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and test case design.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and testing.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon Studio.
- Basic understanding of test automation frameworks.
