We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on an eCommerce project for a client based in Australia. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure the quality of web applications, with a strong focus on UI and end-to-end testing. You'll be involved in planning and implementing test strategies, designing and developing test scenarios, and executing automated and manual tests. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles, with a strong focus on Web and e-commerce projects
- Solid experience in test automation using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js
- Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Solid understanding of software testing and development lifecycles
- Experience testing web applications, preferably in e-commerce environments
- Knowledge of APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ability to validate responses using tools like Postman
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)
- Good communication skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Experience with Vercel deployments and testing is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to define, implement, and improve test strategies for web applications
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for UI and end-to-end testing
- Build and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright
- Validate web application functionality across browsers, devices, and screen sizes (cross-browser and responsive testing)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira with clear and actionable reports
- Set up, manage, and maintain test environments that closely mirror production environments
- Promote best practices in quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Helping recruit and mentor engineers for our growing team in Vietnam.

Compensation
- The maximum monthly gross salary for this position is 70 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
