Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with expertise in web technologies and a background in automation. You will improve the quality assurance efforts for our web-based applications and transitioning our Moldflow Injection Molding working group towards web technologies. You will guide the team towards automation, architect testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications, and ensure the quality and performance of our products. You will report to the Director and will work from our Pune location and we also support Hybrid work.
Responsibilities

Lead QA efforts for web-based applications, ensuring high quality and performance

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases

Maintain automation frameworks for web applications

Implement automated test scripts and ensure their integration into CI/CD pipelines
-
Architect comprehensive testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications
-
Ensure coverage of functional, regression, performance, and security testing
-
Work with development teams to understand requirements and provide QA insights
-
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality assurance and automation

Apply knowledge of web technologies and Moldflow Injection Molding processes to lead quality

Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in web QA and automation
-
Seek opportunities to enhance QA processes and team efficiency

Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in QA and automation tools
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
5-8 years in quality assurance with a focus on web technologies
-
Experience building automation frameworks
-
Expertise in web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
-
Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework)
-
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
-
Familiarity with PLM, CAD, and simulation technologies
-
Familiarity with Moldflow Injection Molding processes and transitioning to web technologies
-
Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners and the ability to work with teams
