As Senior Automation Architect with DTEX, you’ll be coming into a new and exciting space within the security industry. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team, taking a leading role in designing and building cutting edge software automation systems for end-to-end functional testing of the DTEX platform. 
This is a unique opportunity to play a defining role in the development of our testing architecture and implementation. We are seeking a talented, motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills, and with a track record of delivery.


​​​​​​​What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and development of a cutting-edge automation framework that spans client and server-side technologies, ensuring our software platform exceeds the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Innovate and implement advanced database solutions for comprehensive test data management, enabling sophisticated testing scenarios.
  • Architect end-to-end automation strategies that encompass feature testing, performance assessments, and reliability validations across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing methodologies into the development lifecycle, making quality a shared responsibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging analytics and feedback to refine testing approaches and enhance automation effectiveness.
  • Provide mentorship to junior software engineers.

Who You Are:

  • A forward-thinking engineer with extensive experience in automation architecture, not limited to traditional QA methodologies.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing scalable and robust automation solutions, with a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
  • A problem solver who thrives in complex environments, with a proven track record of innovative thinking and solution-oriented approach to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of leading teams and projects to successful outcomes.
  • Passionate about quality, with an unwavering commitment to delivering the best user experience through rigorous testing.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or other scientific field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Strong Python coding skills.
  • Strong database development skills, with experience using relational databases like Postgres, and document stores like Elasticsearch, OpenSearch.
  • Experience with automation and testing frameworks/software libraries like pytest, Selenium, Robot Framework.
  • Good knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with virtualization tools like Virtual Box, VMWare ESXi.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with AWS and/or other cloud infrastructure.
