So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the enterprise Product Functionality Testing and in-depth understanding of QA best practices, techniques, and tools. You will be working closely with the team, and you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality product to the client.
How will you make an impact?
- Design, develop and maintain automation script using languages like Python and Shell
- Passionate and inquisitive, seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
- Automation of deployment testing, build tools, and improve frameworks.
- Ability to debug and identify software issues post deployment.
- Review the defects logged by the team and assign them to the right owner
- Able to estimate and commit task level effort and deliver activities on time. Responsible for the test and development of a wide range of tools and applications including aws command-line interfaces, CI/CD systems, and frameworks.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment i.e. critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests, what information to include in the daily status reports, prioritize, and estimate task execution.
- Strong knowledge on RDS Database like Oracle, Postgres Arora and MySQL.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate technical problems to software teams and management
Have you got what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Handson on EC2, ASG, ECS, Load balancer and CloudWatch .
- Strong knowledge on SQL, Shell scripting/ Python /JavaScripts
- J-Meter / Postman/Playwright
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Github, Gitlab).
- Strong Linux knowledge (Mandatory)
- 2+ year of Experience in API testing.
- CI/CD automation and testing ability
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- CI/CD automation ability
- CloudWatch Synthetics Canary
- Knowledge on VOIP/SIP is plus
