That’s why we’re looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer - Mobile to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.
As a Senior QA Engineer - Mobile at Procore, you will design and execute software testing plans for various key customer-facing and internal Mobile applications. You should be self-motivated, creative, proactive, and ready to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, including multiple platforms and a distributed architecture, diverse technologies, and lab environments. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.
This role will report to the Quality Assurance Manager, based in Cairo, Egypt. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.
What you’ll do:
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Design and execute test cases
Design and maintain E2E mobile automated tests
Verify that the implemented software app meets the business requirements.
Suggest functionality improvements based on usability standards.
Review requirements documents in terms of consistency, completeness, and correctness.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation plans and testing.
Identify, document, and track software bugs
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related field
5+ years of experience in software testing
Proficient in writing SQL queries
Proven Experience with testing mobile applications in an agile environment
Self-driven, problem-solver with demonstrable critical thinking skills
Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles
Proven knowledge and experience in various test levels (system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance)
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
Experience in automation testing, preferably using Appium with Java (Kotlin) or any other automation tool.
Experience in API testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
