Suki also offers its proprietary AI and speech platform, Suki Platform, to partners who want to create best-in-class ambient and voice experiences for their solutions. Clinicians that use Suki already spend over 70% less time on administrative tasks, and we’re striving to do even better. Come and join us!
We are a user-driven company and are committed to making sure every pixel of our product is in service of the doctors. We’re a team of technologists, clinicians, and industry experts working together to push the limits on technology used in medicine. We’re confident enough to move fast and talented enough not to break things.
About the RoleThe Quality Engineering team at Suki is on a mission to redefine how quality is delivered at scale — combining strong engineering fundamentals, AI-assisted testing, and product-obsessed test design. You'll join a team that values rigor, curiosity, and craft. We're hiring **two Senior QA Engineers** to own end-to-end manual testing across our **clinician-facing Mobile (iOS + Android) and Web applications**. You'll be the quality gatekeepers for features that clinicians rely on during real patient encounters — where correctness, reliability, and trust are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities- Design, author, and execute detailed test plans and test cases across Suki's Mobile (iOS + Android native) and Web products.
- Own functional, regression, exploratory, cross-device, and cross-browser testing for every release.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering from the earliest stages — reviewing PRDs, contributing to acceptance criteria, and shifting quality left.
- Reproduce, triage, and drive resolution of defects — with clean, reproducible reports in Jira.
- Maintain and evolve our test case repository in TestRail; document testing artifacts in Confluence.
- Contribute to release sign-offs, participate in bug bashes, and support UAT cycles.
- Continuously raise the quality bar — identify gaps, propose process improvements, and champion the user's experience.
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on manual QA experience across both Mobile (iOS + Android native) and Web applications.
- Strong grasp of QA fundamentals: test design techniques, risk-based testing, exploratory testing, defect lifecycle, test execution & test reporting.
- Solid working knowledge of iOS and Android: device farms, simulators/emulators, real-device debugging, reading app logs (Xcode, Android Studio).
- Cross-browser and cross-device testing experience on the Web side (Chrome DevTools, responsive testing).
- Experience with TestRail (or comparable — Zephyr, Xray, qTest) and Jira.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with fast release cadences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you can articulate bugs, risks, and quality signals clearly to engineers, PMs, and leadership.
- Ownership mindset — you don't just log bugs, you drive quality outcomes.
- Backend-side testing exposure — REST API testing (Postman / similar), basic SQL for data validation, or working with gRPC-based microservices.
- Exposure to AI-assisted QA workflows (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, AI test-generation tools) — we're an AI-first QE org.
- Prior experience testing **healthcare / clinical / HIPAA-regulated products** or EMR integrations.
- Awareness of basic test automation (Appium, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) — even if you haven't written it primarily.
- Familiarity with traffic-inspection tools (Charles / Proxyman) for mobile debugging.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and observability tools (Datadog, Sentry).
*We don’t necessarily expect to find a candidate that has done everything listed, but you should be able to make a credible case that you’ve done most of it and are ready for the challenge of adding new skills to your resume.
