About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a project with our client, a leading crypto prime dealer for institutional investors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards across their SaaS, web, and mobile platforms, particularly within the fast-paced world of trading systems. This is your opportunity to contribute to innovative initiatives in the crypto space while maintaining the reliability and performance of cutting-edge technologies.

What you need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, with a focus on SaaS, web, and mobile applications.

• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in automated testing environments.

• Expertise in Mocha/Jest for JavaScript/TypeScript-based applications.

• Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman/Insomnia.

• Skilled in writing SQL queries for backend testing.

• Understanding of trading systems, with the ability to navigate and test related functionality.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience working in agile/scrum environments.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.

If you get the job, you will have to:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, Mocha, and Jest.

• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.

• Design, implement, and maintain API testing strategies using Postman/Insomnia.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to test database functionality.

• Collaborate with developers to identify areas for test automation and improve existing processes.

• Manage the test lifecycle, from test planning through execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for QA practices and automation tools.
