About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a project with our client, a leading crypto prime dealer for institutional investors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards across their SaaS, web, and mobile platforms, particularly within the fast-paced world of trading systems. This is your opportunity to contribute to innovative initiatives in the crypto space while maintaining the reliability and performance of cutting-edge technologies.
What you need to succeed in this role
5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, with a focus on SaaS, web, and mobile applications.
Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in automated testing environments.
Expertise in Mocha/Jest for JavaScript/TypeScript-based applications.
Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman/Insomnia.
Skilled in writing SQL queries for backend testing.
Understanding of trading systems, with the ability to navigate and test related functionality.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
If you get the job, you will have to:
Develop and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, Mocha, and Jest.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
Design, implement, and maintain API testing strategies using Postman/Insomnia.
Write and optimize SQL queries to test database functionality.
Collaborate with developers to identify areas for test automation and improve existing processes.
Manage the test lifecycle, from test planning through execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for QA practices and automation tools.
