Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team and drive quality initiatives across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in both automated and manual testing, a deep understanding of testing best practices, and a passion for improving product quality, streamlining processes, and mentoring other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product teams to understand product requirements and define testing scope.
· Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
· Support and execute manual testing efforts when needed to validate complex scenarios.
· Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
· Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
· Perform functional, regression, integration and security testing as required.
· Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and reusable test components.
· Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and execution reports.
· Continuously improve test efficiency and coverage leveraging automation, tools, and process improvements.
· Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on testing standards and automation practices.
· Participate in CI/CD pipeline validation and contribute to shift-left testing initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:
· 5–7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance practices.
· Strong understanding of manual testing, test design, and test case creation.
· Solid knowledge of Core Java for automation scripting, debugging, and framework enhancement.
· Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, and API automation.
· Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger (preferred).
· Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
· Experience with databases such as Oracle or Cassandra (preferred).
· Exposure to Linux environments (preferred).
· Experience or working knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
· Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
