What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced automated testing frameworks for backend and UI.
- Build and execute automated test suites using Playwright, with strong focus on backend validation.
- Write and maintain comprehensive System Test Plans and related documentation.
- Test APIs (REST/GraphQL), including authentication flows, pagination, and complex data validation.
- Implement service isolation using mocks and containerized environments (Docker).
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to define test strategies and ensure high quality.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into the delivery process.
- Perform manual testing when needed, including exploratory, regression, and edge-case analysis.
- 4+ years of QA automation experience, with emphasis on backend testing.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
- Experience working with mocks and service isolation.
- Expertise in API testing (REST/GraphQL).
- Strong database skills, preferably MongoDB.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience with Docker and containerized test environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to create and maintain test documentation.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact, schema diff).
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry).
- Experience with visual regression testing tools such as Percy.
