Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This is an in-office position and offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and other test automation tools.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify and document software defects.
- Perform performance testing using JMeter to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
- Test applications in cloud-based platforms.
- Work with Azure DevOps to manage test cases, test plans, and CI/CD pipelines.
Functional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Create detailed documentation and data-driven reports to communicate test results and insights.
- Understand and test microservices, micro frontends, APIs, and provide comprehensive test coverage.
Technical Skills
- Excellent English communication (equivalent to at least 7.5 IELTS score)
- 5+ years experience with 3+ years of experience in QA automation and exploratory testing.
- Proficiency in Playwright/TypeScript, Selenium, JMeter, and other relevant testing tools.
- Experience with performance testing and analyzing performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of testing microservices, micro frontends, and APIs.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills with a data-driven approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience using agentic coding tools, such as Claude Code or Codex for writing automated tests.
