Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of product quality improvement through comprehensive testing activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various team members, including developers, business analysts, vendors, and operations, to ensure the success of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough testing to identify product quality improvement opportunities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, business analysts, vendors, and operations teams to ensure product excellence.
Test Automation: Automate functional, regression, and performance acceptance tests. Enhance end-to-end automated test coverage.
Sprint Planning: Actively participate in sprint planning sessions. Work closely with the Scrum team to analyse requirements and provide relevant test recommendations.
Framework Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve the automation framework and test infrastructure.
Skills Required:
Core Skills:
- Proficient in Java and JavaScript
- Experienced with Restful Webservices (Spring)
- Knowledgeable in test frameworks such as JUnit , TestNG , and Mocha
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitHub/BitBucket , Gradle , Maven , Jenkins
- Competent in cloud platforms, particularly AWS
Secondary Skills:
- Expertise in PostgreSQL
- Skilled in performance monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
- Experience with test automation tools: Rest Assured , Insomnia , Cypress , WireMock
- Practical knowledge of Docker and Openshift
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Typescript
- Awareness of EKS (AWS) and performance testing tools like Jmeter
- Familiarity with Mule , Kong , and emerging technologies in our target state architecture
Target State Technologies:
- Playwright
- PostgreSQL
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
