Payments
Payments is a core product for Cash Management and one of the growth areas in Deutsche Bank’s strategy. In order to support the growth ambitions and to remain a leading global player in the competitive payments market, significant investment in the payment infrastructure of Deutsche Bank are applied. The changes must support market dynamics – changing market infrastructures, evolving client demand and increasing competition – and must address the Bank’s existing infrastructure complexity. The foundation to this investment is a target state architecture for the end-to-end payment process.
As a Senior Java Engineer (f/m/x) you will be responsible for full life-cycle of development tasks, starting from specification and design to successful implementation and level 3 production support.

Your key responsibilities
Working with BAs on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design, document business and functional requirements, design decisions and API
Design and develop new functionality. Coding and testing, reviewing other team member’s changes
Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
When product and architecture experience gained, mentor and direct more junior developers
Provide SL3 (Service Level 3) support for the application
Your skills and experiences
Good math and algorithms/complexity
Excellent knowledge of Java or Kotlin
Hands-on experience of developing large-scale enterprise systems
Good knowledge of SQL relational databases and Unix system
Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solution
