About This Role:
Forrester’s Senior QA Analyst 1 works across the organization on projects involving web display, content management, CRM, and search systems.
This individual supports Forrester’s internal AI team by testing and validating internal AI systems, agents, and MCP‑based solutions that enhance employee productivity and operational efficiency. The role focuses on ensuring these AI‑driven tools behave reliably, safely, and consistently through strong QA practices.
Success in this position entails partnering closely with developers, product delivery managers, engineering managers, and AI engineers to understand feature objectives, refine test strategies, and ensure high‑quality releases across both traditional applications and AI‑powered workflows.
Job Description:

Drive innovation with the latest tools and strategies (manual and automation).
Participate in the full lifecycle of software development, from planning to release.
Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, engineers, AI developers, and business owners.
Own end‑to‑end feature testing and test strategies.
Contribute to release timelines with testing estimation, prioritization, and bug tracking.
Create and maintain test plans.
Test and validate AI‑driven workflows and MCP‑powered agents.
Provide feedback to improve AI model prompts and systems integrations.
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
Stay up‑to‑date with testing tools, strategies, and AI‑related testing practices.
Job Requirements:
BTech or MCA degree.
Four-plus years’ experience as a QA engineer.
Ability to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide meaningful feedback.
Excellence in creating and executing test plans and test cases as well as estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
Strong background in exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
History of designing, developing, and executing automation scripts.
Background in agile software development.
Success working with offshore teams.
Experience with automation across functional, load, and performance testing.
Expertise with JIRA, Postman, JMeter, Playwright, Selenium, or Katalon Studios.
