Position Overview
Spend your days making a difference, not just working for a living. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior QA Analyst to join our ESG team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and validating data quality. You will work closely with all members of the team to create and drive a successful testing strategy for a product. This role requires collaboration, strong communication, out of the box thinking, mentoring and leadership skills and someone who enjoys being part of a pro-active and self-managing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Work as part of agile team to groom user stories and ensure work items are clear and testable.
- Understand the ESG domain and application to come up with business scenarios for testing.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Documentation of testing phases, test scenarios/cases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years experience as a QA Analyst or similar role.
- Experience in project management and QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr, Xray).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand the customer requirements.
- Having an analytical mind-set and can grasp complex concepts easily.
- Having working knowledge on Jira or any other Agile process management tool.
- You are fluent in English, and you are not afraid of working agile.
