Senior QA Analyst, Engineering. Southfield, MI
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate the proper implementation of user requirements in software applications.
- Create best practices regarding test strategies, test libraries, and defect management.
- Write advanced SQL scripts to extract data from various databases/systems for comparison.
- Develop programs for testing data. Develop data warehouse applications.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging/modification of software.
- Identify/document defects and participate in prioritization of defect correction.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Requires bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and two years of experience as a QA Analyst. Experience must include: performing data analysis using advanced SQL, executing ETL/BI test cases, testing PL/SQL procedures, gathering and modifying business requirements, developing data quality test plans, and use of PL/SQL, Oracle 10g, XML, and JIRA.
