We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer with a passion for building robust, high-performance products using modern engineering practices and cutting-edge technology. In this role, you’ll enhance the architecture of our backend applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and simplicity. Working closely with a team of talented developers, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product, bringing strong organisational skills and a drive to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Implement RESTful APIs and core business logic
- Redesign application architecture to optimise performance and scalability
- Improve application performance and capacity planning
- Lock down and manage the technology stack from end to end
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Integrate APIs with other SaaS platforms
- Mentor and coach fellow developers
- Strong proficiency in Python programming
- Extensive experience with the Flask framework
- Skilled in developing and utilizing RESTful APIs
- Expertise in both relational and non-relational databases
- Proven experience mentoring other developers
- Solid background in Microservices development
- Experience in the iGaming industry would be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, GitOps and Django framework
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Experience with WebSockets, Go, Java, PHP, or JavaScript
- Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
