Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend systems that support AI-enabled and data-driven applications.
- Build and optimize data preprocessing.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services powering fintech products.
- Participate in multi-tenant service development, ensuring secure and reliable data handling.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit, regression, e2e and mutation testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Mentor junior developers on Python development and AI/ML implementation.
- Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security in AI/ML solutions.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of Python back end development experience, iespecially applied to AI/ML software development.
- Strong skills in secure API design, async/event-driven systems, like FastAPI
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization,.
- Basic understanding of algorithms, machine learning concepts, and model optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in the Fintech or Banking industry is advantageous.
- Willingness to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
