We're looking for a Senior Developer with extensive AWS expertise to lead the technical design and implementation of our backend. You'll be responsible for developing robust, scalable solutions on AWS for our business customers, including critical functions such as customer registration, company onboarding, and payment processing. Prior experience with AWS Lambda using Python is highly desirable.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with product, web, and QA teams to design, implement, and deliver technology solutions.
- Design and implement solutions utilizing AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and SQS.
- Develop API-first solutions for web and mobile teams, applying patterns like Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and Backend-for-Mobile (BFM).
- Take full ownership of tasks, from initial product requirements through to successful delivery to production with QA.
- Set and model high technical level standards for the team, and support deployed solutions in production after Go-Live.
What You’ll Bring To Us
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (preferred) or any JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala, Groovy, Clojure), .Net, or Go.
- Practical experience with any public cloud platform, with AWS being strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- 3+ experience in FinTech/ financial/banking.
- Experience supporting applications in production environments and working within a DevOps culture.
- Practical experience with serverless solutions.
