The Role
At SellerX, we’re expanding our Tech department and looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our AI & Automation Team. In this role, you’ll take on diverse responsibilities, from exploration and prototyping to production deployment and ongoing optimization of AI-driven solutions. These solutions are varied; they could range from automated backend processes to scheduled data workflows, or even RPA — each tailored to meet specific business needs.
As a Senior Python Engineer, you’ll work across the entire technology stack, building flexible, robust, and scalable solutions that drive SellerX’s operational efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape internal processes, introduce cutting-edge technologies, and design systems that impact core functions.
Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Implement or maintain processes for different departments ensuring their reliability and performance.
- Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment and maintenance, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Deploy solutions in production using cloud services, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Talk to teams inside the company and turn their problems into software solutions, fast.
- Ensure robust cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Continuously learn and adapt to the rapidly evolving AI landscape
Your Background
To join our team, you bring along
- Python experience and the ability to pick up any tool that’s right for the job. A strong aptitude for rapid learning is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in back-end development.
- Proven track deploying solutions in production environments using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Github, and cloud services.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Familiarity with working with LLMs and concepts related to working with them, e.g., vector DBs and embeddings, is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of working with workflow orchestration technologies such as Airflow, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
- Bonus points if you have experience in data manipulation using SQL (Google BigQuery or Snowflake)
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Independent and proactive with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
