Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of high-quality, scalable features while mentoring junior and mid-level developers and ensuring adherence to SDLC standards and best practices.
- Own code quality through solution design participation, rigorous testing, integration validation, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Serve as the technical escalation point, resolving complex issues and unblocking the team to keep projects on track.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication on progress, risks, and timelines through stand-ups, Jira, and Slack.
- Take full ownership of assigned features, delivering release-ready work on time with a deep understanding of application architecture and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement through process, design, and documentation enhancements, contributing to long-term scalability and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and backend services.
- Experience with REST API integrations; familiarity with SOAP is a plus.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Exposure to or interest in serverless architecture and frameworks (e.g., Serverless Framework).
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and SQS.
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum experience is a plus).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and open to continuous growth.
