Roles & Responsibilities:
A passion for technology and solving complex problems.
Taking features/products from inception to specification & implementation while working closely with the product team
Help us translate product/business needs into the perfect tooling & architecture for our needs while focusing on developer experience scale and quality
Write an opinionated architecture using microservices and serverless solutions
Write a testable slick responsive application while focusing on fun developer experience
Help shape our technical direction, best practices, product ideas, and team processes
Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code for highly scalable Cloud applications.
Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of functionality and quality
Act as the go-to technical person for owned domains
Requirements:
- 4+ years of programming experience in Python* Experience in developing backend services with known frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, .etc)* Knowledge of REST API standards and data modeling.
- Experience in integrating and writing APIs.
- Experience in working with relational and non-relational DBs.
- Good understanding of web applications and micro-services architecture and design best practices
- Knowledge and understanding of working with modern CI environment: Git, Docker- An advantage* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka/AWS SQS/ .etc) - An advantage
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Experience with AWS or an alternative cloud environment
- Experience with React client-side development
- Experience working with ES6 and higher\TypeScript
- Writing web scraper
