Senior Python Developer - Data Engineering

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer with a strong data engineering mindset to help us build and scale data platforms that power real-world insights. If you enjoy working close to the product, shipping quickly, and owning problems end-to-end, this role is for you. 

You’ll work on high-impact data pipelines and analytics systems that feed our SaaS products and market intelligence platforms. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real influence over architecture, tooling, and how things get built. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Build and scale data pipelines and ETL workflows that are reliable, performant, and easy to evolve 

• Work on our HR Analytics Platform, parsing job postings and other online data to generate insights used by customers and internal teams 

• Design and maintain data warehouses and databases (Apache Iceberg, ClickHouse or similar) 

• Partner closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to turn ideas into production-ready data solutions 

• Write clean, readable, and well-tested Python code 

• Design and build REST APIs that expose data and services to internal and external consumers 

• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix data issues in production — and improve systems so they don’t happen again 

• Continuously improve our data stack by exploring new tools, patterns, and best practices

What We’re Looking For 

• 3+ years of experience building production systems with Python, ideally in a data engineering role 

• Strong experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and large datasets 

• Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and SQL 

• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django 

• A strong sense of code quality, ownership, and pragmatism 

• Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment 

• Clear communicator who collaborates well across engineering, data, and product
