Job Summary
The Senior Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the complete purchase and procurement function. This role will handle vendor management, negotiations, strategic sourcing, and overall operational coordination. The Senior Purchase Executive will be supported by a Junior Purchase Executive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end purchase operations.
Develop and manage vendor and supplier relationships
Finalize suppliers and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
Approve purchase orders and ensure cost control
Plan material requirements based on sales and stock levels
Coordinate with sales, stores, logistics, and accounts departments
Ensure timely procurement of Mining & Construction tools and spare parts
Handle critical or high-value purchases
Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock movement
Review MIS, purchase reports, and cost analysis
Guide and supervise Junior Purchase Executive
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
RequirementsRequirement:
B.Com / B.E. / Diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years' experience in Purchase / Procurement / Vendor Management.
Experience dealing with engineering / industrial products preferred.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Good analytical thinking.
Ability to analyze purchase trends and vendor performance.
Ability to compare supplier pricing and commercial terms.
Ability to identify alternative suppliers.
Ability to understand product specifications.
Ability to coordinate with Sales, Stores, Logistics, Finance and Management.
Ability to prepare and present vendor reports to Management.
B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical.
Experience with Pneumatic Tools / Mining / Construction / Industrial Products.
Skills Required
