About the Role

Liberty Dental Plan is seeking an experienced Senior Provider Network Assistant to provide advanced support for provider recruitment, network maintenance, and administrative operations. In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with Network Managers and Provider Network leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, efficiency, and exceptional provider service.

What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple Outlook inboxes and respond to escalated provider inquiries from provider offices and internal departments.
  • Troubleshoot advanced provider web portal issues and support providers through resolution.
  • Lead provider recruitment efforts, including outreach for complex cases involving missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Develop, track, and distribute provider communications, notices, and updates via email and fax.
  • Conduct advanced provider verification activities, including roster maintenance, appointment availability validation, and contract compliance reviews.
  • Review online provider contract submissions to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to leadership review.
  • Audit provider contracts, updates, and terminations to ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures.
  • Create and coordinate meeting agendas, materials, and follow-up action items.
  • Maintain tracking tools and reports used for project oversight and operational monitoring.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to provider network systems, processes, and data initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to junior team members.
  • Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental office management, managed healthcare, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of provider network experience or experience working within a Dental PPO or DHMO environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Advanced customer service skills with experience managing escalated issues and provider concerns.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently, identify solutions, and manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, provider contracting processes, and credentialing.
  • Experience coordinating initiatives and meetings across multiple departments.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $25.00-$30.50 hourly, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base salary will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.


Please note that the range listed represents the full base salary range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
