The position is based in Singapore, at our Capita Green office.
The team
Our Central Marketing Teams (Centres of Excellence) roll up under two key functions – Strategic Brand and Proposition & Campaign Marketing, each reporting into the Head of Marketing. As Senior Proposition Marketing Manager, you will be in Proposition Marketing, one of three functions within The Proposition & Campaign Marketing Team, the other two being Content & Insights and Planning. As part of the broader global marketing structure, you will be working in a dynamic, stimulating and collaborative environment. The Proposition Marketing Team is responsible for proposition origination, development, content & advertising production, and campaign performance and optimisation.
The Singapore-based section of the Proposition Marketing team which has a particular focus on delivering the Proposition Marketing Team’s responsibilities to priority activities, campaigns and product launches in Asia markets.
The Proposition Marketing Team works collaboratively alongside Strategic Brand, Sales Effectiveness, regional channel marketing hubs, Schroders Capital Marketing and the strategic planning function.
The role
The Senior Proposition Marketing Manager is a managerial position within the Proposition Marketing team, responsible for inputting into proposition marketing strategy and developing integrated marketing plans that translate business priorities, client needs and market opportunities into compelling propositions, campaign narratives, sales enablement and measurable marketing programmes. The Senior Proposition Marketing Manager leads proposition development, campaign and product content delivery, supported by a Singapore-based Marketing Executive and the wider Proposition Marketing Team, based in London.
Working within the agreed marketing operating model, the role leads the development and execution of global and multi-regional campaigns, ensuring consistent, high-quality, regionally aware implementation, with a measurable contribution to business growth, client engagement and marketing effectiveness.
The role combines strong investment and client segment understanding with the ability to develop compelling propositions and narratives, and to deliver these through structured, data-informed marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop a Marketing Executive, ensuring high standards of delivery and opportunities for growth and development. Provide clear direction, objective, coaching and support to team member, enabling them to execute campaigns effectively. Foster a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team culture.

Lead and be accountable for the origination, proposition, strategy and delivery of global and multi-regional marketing campaigns and other sales initiatives, aligned to agreed business priorities, and brand objectives, that reflect the diverse needs of our clients in Asia. Translate business priorities into clear proposition, campaign narrative and, messaging frameworks supported by marketing and product collateral of a market-leading quality.

Be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned campaigns. This includes the strategy of the campaign from briefing and proposition development through to asset production, execution and post-campaign evaluation. Produce detailed marketing plans, in line with agree templates.

Work closely with Client Group, Product Strategy and Investment to develop differentiated messaging and effective toolkits.

Work closely with the Campaign Performance Team to ensure campaigns are delivered in line with agreed frameworks and KPIs relevant to the objectives of the campaign, including audience targeting, objective setting, measurement, performance tracking and campaign optimisation. Support the embedding of a data-led, results-focused approach to campaign delivery.

Work closely with the Asia regional marketing hub, to ensure campaigns are delivered consistently, while reflecting local market requirements. Ensure in scope campaigns are deployable across regions with appropriate regional adaptation and nuance, identified through quality engagement with regional marketing hubs.

Where additive to campaign objectives, embed and scale Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approaches across campaigns.

Support and advocate for the marketing operating model, ensuring effective collaboration across central and regional teams.

Work collaboratively with the Planning function of the team.

Support adoption of Seismic as the single sales enablement platform.

Build strong working relations with the Asia-based regional marketing hubs and sales teams, whilst championing the global priorities.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

Strong understanding of investment products, asset classes and client segments.

Detailed knowledge of buyer behaviours and sales cycles in Asia markets, with particular emphasis on wealth audiences.

Proven experience delivering marketing proposition and sales messages at both a fund and campaign level for consumption by clients in Asia. This experience should be within asset management or financial services.

Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

Experience working across multiple seniority of stakeholders in a global, matrix organisation, including senior sales colleagues.
