You must have
- 3-5 years of experience as an RFP Manager or writing, editing, and coordinating responses to RFPs/RFIs, including government bids (federal, state and local).
- Experience directly supporting a sales organization, experience in managing a library of information that can be accessed and used easily.
- Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent team player with ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing for sales/marketing needs in a technical environment.
- Experience leveraging CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce) required.
- Strong project management skills, able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
- Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Professional Certification in Proposal Management (e.g APMP Professional Certification) is highly valued

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and experience with large and complex document formatting techniques
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Powerpoint
- Experience leveraging CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce) required.
- Strong business writing, editing, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy and quality
- Understanding of financial and legal terms and functions, along with experience working with budgets and schedules (e.g., Gantt charts)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with changing workload demands
