BlackStone eIT is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Project Manager who will be integral in managing and delivering high-impact projects within our technology division. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead project teams, develop comprehensive plans, and oversee the execution of projects to ensure they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
In this role, you will utilize your extensive project management expertise to coordinate resources, manage stakeholder relationships, and address any challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to foster a collaborative environment and drive project success will be key to your success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans that encompass scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Engage with various stakeholders to gather insights, define project requirements, and set clear objectives.
- Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular updates and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
- Facilitate effective communication within project teams and with external partners to promote transparency and collaboration.
- Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to capture lessons learned and enhance future project performance.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience, particularly in software development or IT projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Exceptional leadership and motivational skills to drive teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
- PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
