We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our team in a highly dynamic, client-facing role. In this position, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact business initiatives, strategic programs, and operational improvement projects for major automotive manufacturers.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record leading complex, multi-workstream projects within scope, budget, and timeline—while maintaining seamless communication with leadership, cross-functional teams, and clients. Experience within an agency or automotive environment is a significant plus.
Job DescriptionProject Management
- Lead and manage multiple business and operational projects simultaneously, delivering timely, high-quality solutions.
- Demonstrate strong commercial understanding of each project’s strategic objectives.
- Identify and present innovative, data-driven business solutions to internal leaders and clients.
- Own all aspects of project delivery: quality, timeline, budget, scope, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and communicate detailed project plans, roadmaps, and milestones.
- Partner with cross-functional team leads to resolve resource constraints and departmental challenges.
- Identify and escalate project risks, providing clear recommendations and guidance toward resolution.
- Oversee project financials including expenditures, forecasting, and invoicing to ensure profitability.
- Provide clear, consistent executive-level communications—both written and verbal—to senior leadership and clients.
Team Management
- Build strong relationships with project teams, department heads, and organizational stakeholders.
- Align internal delivery processes and schedules with the client’s strategic vision.
- Communicate project status, KPIs, and health metrics to the MSX Production Lead.
- Coordinate with team members and external suppliers across geographically distributed environments.
- Provide clear direction to analysts, SMEs, and operational resources to ensure streamlined workflows.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and gain final client acceptance.
Client Management
- Establish rapport and long-term relationships with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Lead steering committee meetings and facilitate discussions on scope, requirements, and project details.
- Set and manage client expectations regarding deliverables, timelines, and outcomes.
- Handle all client communications, including status reports, presentations, and escalation updates.
- Attend onsite meetings as required to maintain alignment and visibility.
- Collect client feedback and performance data to support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7+ years managing corporate projects, including scope, budget, resource plans, and timelines.
- Proven experience delivering business transformation or operational improvement projects end-to-end.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and aggressive deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success building and managing client relationships at the stakeholder level.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a high sense of ownership.
- Proactive problem-solver with a track record of taking initiative.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Teams, Basecamp, Monday.com, etc.).
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience in the automotive industry—corporate, OEM, retail, or agency.
- Familiarity with business process modeling and organizational change management.
- Background in management consulting or professional services.
- Ability to learn new technologies and integrate digital tools into workflows.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $120k to $135k based on current experience.
