The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This position will be a part of a Cross-Functional Team that is accountable for addressing and resolving gaps, opportunities, and compliance initiatives that affect multiple areas across the CAPI organization. The team provides a holistic view of how initiatives impact other areas and works to identify agile and innovative solutions through cross-departmental collaboration.
The Senior Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimizes delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepares reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
4 or more years of experience reading and interpreting Medical claims in an operational area (Front or Back end)
Familiar with CAS, CIS/CISPro, THOR, CGX, CRM, Pareo
At least one year of experience in project management, project coordination and/or project leadership
Proven ability to effectively lead initiatives that require cross-departmental collaboration
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with experience presenting findings or project status to leadership and in meetings of large audiences
Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and shift to changing needs
Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 or more years of experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Current knowledge or working experience supporting the Medicaid business
Six Sigma and/or Project Management (PMP) Institute certifications
Understanding of Financial Recovery processes

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
