We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager of IT to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Project Manager in IT at ICON, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
What You Will Be Doing:
Manage PMDI and/or DSE department projects
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, with quality and adequate resources
Serve as point of contact for other departments initiating projects, ensuring alignment and avoiding duplication
Provide regular project metrics and risk register updates to PMDI Leadership
Essential Functions
Provide project management support for digital product and insights development throughout the lifecycle
Deliver regular project status updates, including risks and mitigation strategies
Communicate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment across departments
Review other departmental projects for dependency, impact, and consistency
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Daily Stand‑Ups, Demos, and Retrospectives
Partner with Product Owners/Managers to prioritize backlog items
Drive risk identification and proactive mitigation
Monitor work intake and flow within agile teams
Improve team efficiency and creativity
Assist with creation and management of project plans during implementation or operational phases
Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to create unified program plans across workstreams
Manage multiple high‑priority tasks and expectations
Operate effectively in large-scope, high-complexity agile environment.

Your Profile:
A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading successful projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective project strategies.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with PV systems (e.g., Argus) and ICSR management
PMP certification
Travel:
No significant travel expected
