Job Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager will take the lead in managing and delivering complex projects across various domains, ensuring alignment with Valleysot's strategic objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with the capability to drive project success through effective planning, stakeholder management, and resource allocation. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement necessary actions to achieve objectives.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of potential issues.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices in project management.
RequirementsQualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT services or consulting environments.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects with diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
• Familiarity with Oracle products and solutions is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise transformation or large IT implementations.
