Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading key marketing initiatives, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of strategic priorities such as brand planning, alliance meeting preparation, and product launch support. This role serves as a key integrator across cross-functional teams, proactively driving alignment, anticipating risks, and providing strategic guidance to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of project timelines across brand planning, alliance meetings, and launch activities.
- Act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring communication flow, alignment on deliverables, and risk mitigation.
- Proactively identify issues, risks, and resource gaps, and develop solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate leadership-level updates with clear summaries of project status, key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, medical, regulatory, legal, and alliance counterparts to ensure project deliverables are met with high quality.
- Support and/or lead preparation for key external meetings (e.g., alliance governance meetings, launch readiness reviews).
- Drive operational excellence by recommending improvements to project management processes and tools.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience; pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing processes, including regulatory/legal review (PRC).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams independently.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to synthesize complex issues, escalate risks appropriately, and propose actionable solutions to leadership.
