The Opportunity

As Project Manager you will be part of the RSS Enterprise Capabilities Team and report to the Chapter Lead for Project Management. Are you a project management enthusiast and want to provide best in class project management services to partners across Roche? Then you are the candidate we are looking for.

In this role you will be responsible for successful Project Delivery using agile or traditional project management methodology. Your work will include but will not be limited to:

  • understanding the business goal(s) and value of the project and striving to deliver the defined benefits to the organization

  • leading or being part of global project teams ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and resource assignment to the project plan deliverables

  • ensuring that the critical success factors of reliability, compliance, efficiency, sustainability, time to value are managed throughout the entire lifecycle of the projects

  • effectively managing stakeholders through the establishment of key relationships and developing an understanding of their organizations

  • generating, maintaining and tracking an accurate and realistic project plan, project risk and issue log and ensuring the project status is timely and transparent

  • preparing and presenting to relevant governance meetings as required by the project methodology and good project management practice

  • tracking project financials and seeking governance approval when needed

  • applying organizational change management practices  as needed and ensuring effective project communication

  • contributing to business development opportunities where appropriate

  • Helping mature the project management and ideation capabilities, service offerings and community engagement leveraging latest developments and market dynamics

  • Supporting the development of training content and toolkits for our team

  • Actively managing your project management upskilling

  • Applying your learnings during engagements and sharing them with your chapter colleagues

Who You Are

The ideal candidate showcases deep expertise in project management and has applied knowledge in one or more of the following capabilities: Organizational Change Management, Agile Coaching, Transformation and Project Communications, Business Analysis, Data Science.

You possess the following qualifications, experience and personal attributes

  • Appropriate university degree and 5+ years of project management related work experience 

  • Strong knowledge in project management fundamentals (waterfall, SCRUM and others) 

  • Experience in leading global/complex projects, organizing and optimizing resources and establishing clear priorities

  • Ability to motivate and lead a project team or team members if required

  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate across various levels of a complex, matrix organization. Ideally exposure to OCM.

  • Experience in financial management of projects, budgeting, actuals tracking and reporting

  • Self-driven, adaptable and resilient, with a growth mindset

Salary starts from 2800 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
