The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of a cross-enterprise strategy focused on clinician recruitment and retention. This individual will work across multiple departments and business lines, influencing key stakeholders to ensure the success of initiatives designed to enhance clinician wellbeing, professional satisfaction, and reduce turnover. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, experience in healthcare settings, and a deep understanding of the drivers of clinician engagement.

The Senior Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or clinical settings.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-departmental projects with a focus on organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare and factors that influence clinical turnover & satisfaction. 
  • Demonstrated success in working with and influencing leaders across enterprise systems.
  • Passion for improving healthcare professional wellbeing and satisfaction.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred.


Required Skills:

  • Ability to manage complex projects with minimal direction.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
  • Experience leading projects in a complex business or matrixed environment.
  • Experience in tracking and achieving project milestones on time and within budget.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$84,600 - $116,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
