Ameresco has a new opportunity with our Federal team for a Senior Onsite Project Manager in the District of Columbia to lead the execution of the construction and implementation of a $100M campus utility system upgrade as an energy savings performance contract (ESPC).
Responsibilities:

Provide daily administrative and technical on-site management of construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial customers.

Coordinate and directly engage with internal Engineering, Construction, Scheduling, Measurement and Verification, Commissioning, and O&M Teams during entire project life cycle.

Coordinate and manage vendors and subcontractors ensuring their performance, scope, cost, schedule, and quality is in accordance with Ameresco and Client requirements.

Engage with stakeholders through project reports, status updates, face to face meetings, team meetings, support documentation, and online collaboration.

In coordination with a safety officer, implement and execute the site safety and health plans ensuring all personnel and project operations are in compliance with jurisdictional, OSHA, and EM385 safety standards, thereby providing a safe and productive working environment.

Manage project resources, change orders, project expenditures, financial documentation. Review and approve pay applications for vendors and subcontractors.

Foster positive and effective stakeholder relationships at all levels and project phases.

Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Minimum 10 years electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial power construction project management work experience involving facility infrastructure construction, renovations, underground piping, lighting retrofits, building controls and automation, motors and VFDs, or renewable energy technology.

Minimum of 5 years Federal project management experience.

Ability to review confidential US security information
Additional Qualifications:
-
USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) certified.

Demonstrated experience with installation and/or replacement of chillers, boilers, combined heat power plants, congeneration, and steam distribution.

Demonstrated management and completion of federal projects between $50M - $100M preferred.

Completion or active progress toward engineering, project management, or industry-related education or certifications preferred.

Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.

Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, PDF Software, and Procore

Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state.
