Senior Project Manager

The delivery team works across our disciplines to ensure that Appnovation delivers a quality product on time and on budget, using a hybrid process of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Lead multiple projects concurrently
• Work closely with our clients to ensure that projects deliver against the agreed-upon expectations. 
• Work closely with strategists, developers, technical architects, product managers, designers, and the client's representatives to define the direction, approach, and requirements to project manage the discovery, design and execution
• Determine project schedules, create detailed project plans and scope statements, and write status reports for each stage of the project
• Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans and work to assess potential issues and risks
• Manage project budgets and maintain costs to remain within or under budget        
• Analyse profitability, revenue, margins, and utilisation across projects
• Develop statements of work, project charters and other project documentation
• Provide guidance to all members of the project team and to other Delivery team members
• Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalise on “add-on” sales opportunities across projects while seeking out new opportunities with existing clients
• Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in the delivery of projects
• Participate in the pre-sales process (opportunity management, oversee and run pre-sales teams to create responses to RFPs, estimates, etc.)

• At least 3-4 years of Project Management experience, and a heavy focus on working with client-facing project teams and budgets
• Experience in managing projects that are run on cloud-based technologies, e.g. Google Cloud and AWS                
• Ability to work with SMEs to estimate project costs, build detailed project plans / Gantt charts, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines
• Experience in using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, specifically including scrum
• Be fundamentally driven by ensuring good processes and be able to adapt different approaches and methodologies
• A project manager’s technical understanding of software engineering, mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organisation

• Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications            
• Intermediate proficiency in Cantonese
