We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic new product development initiatives from concept to launch.

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on products that will define the future of Flowserve's business. Working with global engineering, operations, product management, and leadership teams, you will drive complex development programs while helping deliver breakthrough technologies to market.

What You'll Do

  • Lead complex new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through Flowserve's Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Drive engineering development, testing, validation, and launch activities.
  • Facilitate stage-gate reviews and present project updates to executive leadership.
  • Manage project risks, timelines, budgets, and scope changes while ensuring successful execution.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across engineering, operations, product management, quality, and supply chain functions.
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and portfolio reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and organizational effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably 12-15 years.
  • Proven experience leading new product development projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing complex projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to drive results in a matrix environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working with distributed or global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree.
  • PMP certification and/or MBA.
  • Background in pumps, valves, rotating equipment, industrial products, aerospace, automotive, power generation, medical devices, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Planview, Smartsheet or similar project portfolio management tools.
  • Experience leading highly regulated or technically complex development programs.
