We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Steel Detailing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Requires good experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring overall project profitability and client satisfaction
- Create and prepare project-related materials and documentation to support internal teams and project execution
- Coordinate project-related details between clients and production staff while ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership and HQ management on strategic planning, operational goals, and process optimization initiatives
- Schedule and allocate project resources to meet construction timelines and client delivery expectations
- Effectively coordinate project modifications and adapt to changing project requirements as needed
- Define project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines to ensure efficient workflow and accountability among team members
- Conduct high-level quality reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and company quality procedures
- Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and design change summaries throughout the duration of the project
- Monitor and adjust project activities to ensure alignment with JMT Tekla project workflow procedures and delivery schedules
- Prepare drawing packages for client submission in accordance with scheduled project deadlines
- Review and revise drawing packages to ensure compliance with client standards, specifications, and quality requirements
- Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and final delivery to ensure successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget
- Mentor, train, and develop project managers, team leads, detailers, and junior engineers to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project workflows, productivity, detailing standards, and operational efficiency
- Identify project risks, technical challenges, and resource constraints proactively and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure lessons learned, project feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives are incorporated into future project planning and execution

Qualifications:
- Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical
- Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical
- 10+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can demonstrate significant experience in a related field
- 5+ Years of experience in Project Management
- Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
- Must know AISC & CISC Standards
- Considerable proficiency and experience in working on Commercial US Projects
- Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance
- Deadline-driven with attention to detail
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in AISC / CISC Projects
- Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken)
- Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking

Skills Required
