Role Summary
The Senior Technology Project Manager leads the successful delivery of complex, strategic technology initiatives across the EMEA and APAC regions. The role is accountable for delivering projects from initiation through implementation and operational handover, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality parameters while maximising business value. Working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors and senior leadership, the role provides strong governance, proactively manages risk and dependencies, and drives successful business outcomes through effective project leadership.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and programmes, ensuring successful execution against agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives while maintaining effective governance, stakeholder engagement, financial control and risk management
Key Responsibilities
· Project Delivery
o Lead multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation through to operational handover, ranging from medium to large scope and complexity (typically 100-1000+ effort days).
o Develop, maintain and actively manage integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps and milestone schedules.
o Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
o Drive project execution, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and business outcomes.
o Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across multiple countries and time zones.
o Matrix-manage delivery teams across internal and external teams.
· Stakeholder Management
o Build trusted relationships with business sponsors, technology teams, business leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation.
o Lead governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting, ensuring informed decision-making and effective escalation where required.
o Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks and decisions effectively.
· Risk, Governance & Financial Management
o Maintain comprehensive RAID management, proactively identifying, assessing and mitigating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
o Own project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
o Ensure compliance with Experian governance standards, security policies, architectural principles and applicable regulatory requirements.
o Escalate delivery risks appropriately and recommend mitigation strategies.
· Delivery Excellence
o Operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgement and making informed decisions in complex delivery environment
o Lead the resolution of complex delivery challenges by balancing competing priorities, risks and stakeholder expectations.
o Champion Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies, selecting the most appropriate approach for successful project outcomes
o Drive continuous improvement through automation, data-driven reporting and responsible adoption of AI-enabled project management capabilities.
o Support PMO reporting, governance standards and portfolio management activities.
o Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency through automation and AI-enabled project management practices
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience (typically 7+ years) managing complex technology projects including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity or enterprise technology implementations.
- PMI Accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification.
- Demonstrated success managing projects through the full project lifecycle
- (Preferred) Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, AgilePM or similar).
- (Preferred) Experience working within global matrix organisations.
