We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale healthcare software implementations across NHS Trusts, hospitals, and other healthcare organisations.
Responsibilities:Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to customer acceptance and support handover.
Deliver large, complex enterprise software projects in live healthcare environments.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, forecasts, risks, issues, and project documentation.
Lead project governance, reporting, and customer-facing project meetings.
Coordinate internal delivery, development, services, and third-party supplier teams.
Ensure delivery aligns with contractual, budget, quality, and timeline requirements.
Manage project handovers from Sales and into Support.
Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
PRINCE2 Practitioner certified.
Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering large, complex projects within the UK healthcare sector.
Minimum 3 years' experience within a software, healthcare technology, or IT solutions organisation.
Strong experience using Microsoft Project.
Proven delivery of enterprise-scale software implementations (typically 1,000-3,000 delivery days).
Experience managing risks, issues, project governance, and customer acceptance processes.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland.
This role requires a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes. A core understanding of AI concepts is required and must be able to demonstrate the use of AI tools in a professional setting.
Onboarding
As part of our onboarding process, all new employees will be required to attend / travel to the office on their first day of employment. This requirement is essential for onboarding activities, including the identity verification, completion of necessary documentation, receiving your IT equipment, introductions to key team members, and orientation to Clinisys policies and procedures.
