Roles and Responsibilities
As the Senior Project Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.
- Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP.
- Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings.
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities.
- Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and project procedures; facilitate the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team.
- Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools.
- Ensure compliance with U. S. export control and other requirements as applicable.
- Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
- Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements.
- Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan.
- Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or business.
- OR High school diploma / GED.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or business.
Eligibility Requirements
- The work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy location in Markham, ON, Canada.
- Highly qualified remote eligible candidates will be considered.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. government.

- BWR Operations/Maintenance experiencing is highly desired.
- Training development or training program experience is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM.

- Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
- Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $170,000 and $220,000 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
