Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager will play a key role in managing, supporting, and driving projects across the enterprise by leveraging project management expertise, data analytics, and engineering knowledge. This role involves close collaboration with various functional teams, including (but not limited to) Operational Excellence CoE, Continuous Improvement, EHS&S, Quality, Communication, Human Resources, and

Business Unit leadership, to successfully deploy CPS and other business transformation initiatives.

The position reports to the Director of Business Transformation – CPS and serves as a critical resource within the corporate Center of Excellence (CoE) team, providing PMO support and facilitating enterprise-level projects. A key objective is to develop and enhance project management capabilities throughout the organization by standardizing methodologies, tools, and processes, and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

**Please note this is a remote role that requires 50% travel including travel to Mexico.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage multiple large-scale manufacturing projects, including new facility setups, equipment installations, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Provide PMO support across business units to drive operational excellence and achieve NET CTO savings.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource strategies, to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track performance using KPIs and provide detailed updates to stakeholders via reports and presentations.
  • Identify risks, create mitigation plans, and proactively address potential project disruptions.
  • Work with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and leadership teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with plant leaders to validate CTO savings and achieve differential results across the enterprise.
  • Standardize project management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives through effective project management practices.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Build and enhance the organization’s project management capabilities by developing a robust project management program and conducting training.
  • Operate with minimal supervision, exercising strong judgment and escalating issues to leadership as needed.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to foster teamwork in both remote and in-person settings.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or Business Management is required.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or a proven track record of leading continuous improvement projects in manufacturing environments is required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects and providing PMO support for enterprise-level strategy rollouts.
  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain processes, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, MS SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Experience in developing and standardizing project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Must be able to travel within Mexico and the United States
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary travel visas
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice and stay for extended periods, as needed, as part of initial training and ramp-up.
