About the Role
Join a highly collaborative team delivering one of Flinders University's most significant strategic developments. The Flinders Health Centre will bring together education, research and healthcare through an integrated, interprofessional model of practice. As Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the successful delivery of major project workstreams, partnering with a multidisciplinary project team and a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes across governance budget and program objectives. Reporting to the Project Director, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that will shape the future of education, healthcare and research, supporting the University’s student-centred focus.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the successful delivery of complex, large-scale strategic infrastructure and development projects from concept through to completion.
Partnering with senior leaders, consultants, contractors and diverse stakeholder groups to drive project outcomes and organisational priorities.
Providing strong governance, risk management and reporting to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and effectively.

About You
You are an accomplished project lead who thrives in complex environments and has experience delivering major infrastructure, capital works or strategic projects. You are known for your ability to bring people together, attention to detail, navigate competing priorities and maintain momentum, while remaining approachable, hands-on and focused on achieving the best outcomes for stakeholders.
You will bring:
Extensive experience delivering significant, multi-faceted projects and confidently leading discussions with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
Exceptional communication, project governance skills, with the ability to influence, facilitate, negotiate and drive outcomes.
A practical, collaborative and selfless approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, support others and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
Flexibility, resilience and a proactive mindset, enabling you to adapt to changing priorities, embrace new challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will also hold postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in project coordination and/or management of building related projects, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
About the College/Portfolio
The Property, Facilities and Development (PFD) team works across all of Flinders’ places, spaces, and physical infrastructure. Working across four key areas: Strategic Planning and Sustainability; Capital Development; Customer and Site Services; and Strategic Projects, we are responsible for the planning, development, capital delivery, management, and maintenance of university spaces to ensure they are fit for purpose and support Flinders to deliver its strategic objectives. The PFD team is leading the planning, development, and delivery of four major strategic projects as the University strives to achieve its bold ambitions.

Appointment to this role is conditional on the completion of required pre-employment checks and declarations, each of which must be satisfactory to the University. This includes a current completed Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Gender Based Violence Declaration which is satisfactory to the University. The contract of Employment is conditional upon the receipt of these completed compliance checks. A disclosable outcome will not automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration.
