The Project Manager – Electrical Service drives customer satisfaction, revenue, and long-term client retention by owning commercial service relationships and coordinating service requests from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients; expand the client base through active business development.
- Identify opportunities for electrical service, repairs, and upgrades; prepare and present proposals and service agreements.
- Act as the liaison between clients and technicians, managing multiple service calls to ensure efficient, high-quality completion.
- Conduct on-site meetings, walkthroughs, and inspections to assess client needs.
- Track account performance, manage budgets for small projects, approve invoices, and ensure profitability.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical service account management or related field.
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, electrical design, and construction methods.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for client relationship management.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam and Accubid preferred.
- Ability to manage fast-moving, multiple service projects simultaneously.
- Achieving Service Department sales goals and budget targets.
- Increasing client retention rates.
- Improving customer satisfaction scores.
Skills Required
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical service account management or related field
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, electrical design, and construction methods
