At Stryker, we’re seeking a Senior Project Manager in Post-Market & Sustaining who is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional efforts to address post-market product issues across the Neurosurgical Business Unit. This role sits within the R&D PMO and serves as a central integrator between Post-Market Quality functions, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and R&D/New Product Development.

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, Michigan office. You will need to be in the office 3-4 days a week and can work from home on other days.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage post-market issue initiatives, including development of charters, plans, and execution strategies, while balancing scope, resources, risk, urgency, and timelines.
Serve as the primary liaison between Post-Market Quality and R&D/New Product Development, ensuring timely engagement of appropriate technical subject matter experts.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Service, Failure Analysis, Regulatory, Divisional Quality, GQO, Process Engineering, and suppliers to investigate, contain, and resolve post-market product issues.
Drive issue resolution by ensuring complaints are properly documented, investigations are initiated, product returns are coordinated when needed, and corrective actions are tracked to closure.
Develop and maintain structured project plans and timelines, including task ownership, dependencies, milestones, and follow-up actions.
Proactively identify and manage risks associated with post-market issues, escalating concerns and facilitating mitigation strategies to minimize impact to customers, patients, and the business.
Organize and facilitate post-market governance forums, providing clear status updates and sharing post-market insights with stakeholders and leadership.
Act as the central point of communication for post-market issues, ensuring clear, timely, and consistent reporting across cross-functional teams and leadership.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field
Minimum 6 years of product development, project management or post-market experience
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project timelines
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments
